Thanks, Mona. I don't know how you manage to be fresh and calming at the same time, but it's great. I'm returning to yoga and this was challenging but I was ok with the modifications.

The best thing about this class is that none of the poses require except...

The best thing about this class is that none of the poses require exceptional flexibility, but still get a sweat up. The sequences strike the perfect balance between moving relatively swiftly between poses but still managing to hold and build strength in each one. For example, going from downward dog to various warrior poses each leg is raised in turn then the knee brought to nose and armpit, to give it extra movement and build heat. I love that this class repeats throughout the sequence poses that are too often forgotten about - boat pose, dolphin, and the one where you press the soles of your feet together and push down on your knees with your elbows to stretch out your hips. Mona is a great teacher. Lucid instructions, and always the option to do the vinyasa or go straight into downward dog.

I liked the flow between poses in this class - I worked up a nice little sweat and felt strong, relaxed, and energized at the end. No advanced poses - so with the modifications, a good beginner flow class as well.

This one got me sweating and that doesn't happen easily. Loved it.

This practice really is accessible to many levels. I'm more novice than yogi, but I was able to make it through this class by waiting out a lot of the vinyasas in down dog. I still worked up a sweat, but I look forward to coming back to this class and trying more of the vinyasas next time.

i worked up a sweat with this practice. mona is so wonderfully calm and kind and throughout the class she reminds us to take the appropriate variation of the pose. which is really nice because the sequence is more challenging than it seems. it has a lot of core work (planks, side planks, knee to nose while in plank, navasanas, dolphin...). I will be coming back to this one. thanks!

I like Mona's shoulder-stabilizing moves and the fact that she doesn't hold refinements so long that I begin to tense up and grip. This power flow has so many levels of exertion that there is no chance of harming yourself, as long as you listen to your body. Job well done by this very welcome addition to Yoga Today!
